At Hospitalar 2017, Primus®, a brand of Alliance Laundry Systems, confirmed again its expertise and leadership in hygienic laundry. During the four-day show, Primus introduced their products to trade visitors from inpatient and outpatient care for the elderly.
The key event for the healthcare sector in the Americas, and entry point for the South American market, Hospitalar is ideal for launches, and product innovations, as well as solutions and services for hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, clinics and medical centers. The event attracts 90,000 attendees from the healthcare industry.
As a leader and innovator in the laundry sector, Primus highlighted how the healthcare industry can get the most out of its laundry processes and reduce costs, while still delivering excellent hygienic results.
“Forget what you thought about laundry rooms, with 50-year-old washers and dryers being operated by untrained staff,” said David Grendysa, Primus international brand manager. “Today’s laundry is becoming a high-tech environment being run by a staff of highly skilled individuals.”
In the Primus booth, the focus was on the hygienic barrier washer (MB 66), which represents the mid-size capacity washer in the barrier range. The other highlight was the IFF 50-320 CS ironer, with automatic feeding, folding and stacking. Facilities utilizing the IFF 50-320 ironer benefit from a streamlined ironing operation that requires less operators than traditional methods.
Traffic in the Primus booth was heavy all four days, and staff was pleased with the response to laundry solutions on display.
“We are happy with number and quality of customers who visited our booth, and we look forward to the next show in 2018,” said Jeremy Ozene, country manager of Alliance Laundry Systems. He added that discussions with customers following the show have brought additional sales opportunities, particularly in the Primus range of ironers.
