The Primus brand of laundry equipment, its staff, and its distributor partners reaffirmed their leadership position in the hygienic laundry market recently at Altenpflege 2017 (the leading trade show in the care sector) in Nuremberg, Germany. During the three-day show, held in April, Primus products gained considerable attention from trade show visitors in the inpatient and outpatient care for the elderly sector.
Focus of the Primus booth was innovative technology and a wide product range.
Primus presented its portfolio of small and efficient washing machines, with a special focus on the compact hygienic barrier washer (FXB180) and energy efficient heat pump dryer. The FXB range of hygienic barrier washers, which have capacities of 18, 24, and 28 kg, was the most-discussed topic in the context of the care sector for retirement homes.
The technologically advanced HP tumble dryer (T13 HP), with its extremely low energy consumption, was also shown for the German market, where Primus is considered one of the leading providers of laundry equipment.
In addition, the semi-commercial stacked washer/dryer (SPS10), with 10 kg of capacity also was displayed. The unit is easy to install, and offers to entrepreneurs an effective solution to their laundry needs, with minimum disruption to the core operation.
Part of the booth was dedicated to the Primus Softwash® wet cleaning solution, where a full demonstration of the innovative cleaning process was presented by Arnaud Guerin, wet cleaning segment manager, international for Alliance Laundry Systems.
“Our German partners were happy with the number and quality of customers who visited our booth and they look forward to the next show in 2018,” said Christoph Kampmann, Regional Sales Director Central Europe of Alliance Laundry Systems.
